 Don’t forget that tonight is the English Beer Tasting at Tap Root Café between 6-8 PM.  It’s a bargain at $15, including six beers and appetizers.  I’ll be there. Tickets can be had at both Tap Root on Huffman across from the Wells Fargo and at LaBodega, the co-sponsor of this little soiree.  This will be followed by music by Irina Rivkin.  Yeah, don’t ask me, but the bio includes:  “She’s political, jazzy and rhythmic…hot harmony rich vocals……”

On tap over at Tap Root is MSBC’s Brown, IPA and Hefe, along with Guinness and Trois Pistoles…

As for the Humpy’s line up, anyone tried the Full Sail Top Sail Porter yet?  I’m a FREAK for a good porter, especially if it’s richly balanced.  I’m suspecting copious amounts of PNW hops, so I’d be interested to know.  I can only spread my liver so thin this week…..
